The default layout
Every new property ships with a default dashboard that includes KPI scorecards, a traffic chart, top pages, traffic sources, and a world map. It's a sensible starting point for most sites — no setup required.
Enter edit mode
Append #dynamic to the dashboard URL to enter edit mode. Drag widgets to rearrange them, resize rows, and add new chart types from the sidebar. Changes are saved automatically as you go.
Dashboard snapshots
Snapshot before big changes
Before reworking layout, create a snapshot from the dashboard menu. You can roll back to any saved snapshot at any time — useful when an experimental layout doesn't work out.
